Hundreds of fast food workers in New York have gone on strike to demand better pay. The minimum wage is a little over 7 dollars an hour, in one of the most expensive cities in the world. Workers want a raise and the right to organise action without threat or intimidation. Al Jazeera's Cath Turner reports from New York.
