A former student at the prestigious Horace Mann School in The Bronx filed a lawsuit claiming he was molested by a music teacher there some 450 times in the 1970s. It’s the first suit against the posh Riverdale prep school since tales of alleged sex abuse by staffers, spanning decades, surfaced last year. The alleged victim claims former music teacher Johannes Somary sexually abused him for more than four years, starting when he was 14, with many of the incidents occurring on hiking trips to Englewood, NJ. The suit was filed in New Jersey, which has less strict sex-abuse statutes of limitation than New York.
